Atresmedia put all their confidence in VAV for the reception and treatment of 4K signal of the UEFA Champions League Final that faced Real Madrid and Juventus the past Saturday 3 of June in Cardiff.
Our OB Van 21 4K was from the past Wednesday at the Atresmedia headquarters in San Sebastián de los Reyes (Madrid), installed as a 4K continuity control for the reception of all signals and subsequent treatment for program broadcast of the Champions League final in 4K. Atresmedia went through a great technical deployment to bring the best quality of image and the most complete coverage through its televisions and / or mobile devices. VAV ME: End of season in UAE

Monday, 29 May 2017 00:00

After 9 months of work, the number of productions are reduced by the arrival of the extreme heat to Emirates. During this season, we have made more than 200 productions covering a wide range of events. Among the sport productions, we can highlight our host services for national competitions like AGL and AGC; and the coverage of two of the most important events in the camel races season: the Gulf Cup, in October, that was the unofficial beginning of the season, and the Al Wathba finals, last big competition of the year. Both productions had a coverage of more than 16 cameras. Among the numerous events produced, we believe we can outstand the coverage of the two main festivals in Abu Dhabi: Sheikh Zayed Festival and Mother of the Nation Festival, both dedicated to key figures in the history of UAE. But not everything has been productions with OB vans, we have also given service of creative crew reaching a total of more than 4,000 services during the season. Our cameramen and EVS operators have been witness of exception of the breaking news and the most important events in the country during the past year.

TV3 relied on VAV again for the personalization of the final "Copa del Rey", who was played last Saturday May 27 between the F.C. Barcelona and Deportivo Alavés, in the Vicente Calderón stadium (Madrid). The OB Van 21 UHD was equipped with 7 HD camera chains, 2 EVS HD, 2 box lenses 72 HD, double position of commentators, position of reporter, as well as the technical crew of assembly.

The regular football season has come to an end in UAE with the celebration of the last round of the championship of the AGL (Arabian Gulf League). Finally, the team of the capital, Al Jazeera, has managed to break the duopoly of the last 6 years of Al Ahli and Al Ain and has won the championship. At the bottom of the table, we say goodbye to Bani Yas and Kalba teams. Next year Ajman and Dubai will join the AGL, leaving out the new team of Diego Maradona, Al Fujairah, who has not finally achieved the promotion. VAV Middle East has been a major player in the development of the championship being in charge of producing host signal of 46 games. As the season finale, we have produced two games of the decisive last round from the stadiums of Hatta and Al Ahli.PLC (Pro-League Committee) wanted to reward the team that has made possible the production of the season and has delivered in each stadium gold medals to each member of the technical and creative staff.
